Heard an interesting bit on NPR the other day about domestic tensions in Spain; tensions that have had a lid on them for decades are coming to the fore. There seems to be discussion in Catalonia about independence in some form.

Yeah, as far as I know there are still numerous unresolved disputes in Spain. But it seems the Spanish government is coping well, seeking dialogue rather than resorting to violence. It seems to work a lot better than sending in tanks.
