If you’re passionate about what you’re doing (and have decent writing skills of course) then that’s enough. It doesn’t necessarily imply you’ve got a focused subject, although that sure helps. I started this site with a crappy theme and submitted it to the network when I had about 5 to 10 posts or so. And there you go, I was let in.

Why join the club? Well, there’s the increased readership of course. That’s nice. If you run ads that may also mean extra cash. But it also means you’re in a community. If you choose to participate you can meet some wonderful people. In a way, it’s just like making friends—and it comes with all the advantages friends have.

The only downside to ‘clubs’ are its restrictions. The only restriction 9rules has is that you keep doing what you do; the rest is voluntarily.

In Holland we have a saying: if you don’t shoot you’ll always miss! So go ahead and give it a shot if you haven’t already.

I also wonder: why join any club of sorts?

This blog, however, is truly one of my favourites though and it’s really worth being a member of the ‘best out there’.
